The roots, stumps and centuries old carcasses of felled Javanese teak trees are unearthed and salvaged to make way for new plantation seedlings. Individually carved from these discarded tree parts, each of our pieces becomes an original, functional work of natural art. Artisans have smoothed the surfaces, then chiseled and sanded away protrusions to ensure that each piece proudly displays the knots, fissures, and grain of their above-ground counterpart. Nothing manmade comes close to capturing the beauty of these swirling textures. Wide enough for comfortable seating, our furniture offers secure support and doubles as sculptural decor, and our hand-carved accessories add a distictive eco-accent to any occasion. Available in an oiled or lacquered finish, these beautiful natural creations are an impressive compliment to any home or garden.
